I feel like for this first post I should start out by just introducing myself and my little girl to the big blog world. My name is Joe, and I am the very proud new daddy of a beautiful baby girl, Hadley Ann, who was born to my wife, Abi, and I on November 1, 2011. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 20" tall. When she was born she had no jaundice, but a couple of days later it showed up and when she had blood work done, her bili levels came back at 19.8, which, from what I'm told, is very high. She was on a bilibed for 2 days, and had blood work done each day. The first day the level was 14.4, and the second was 10.6. It had to be below 12 for her to come off, so we were very grateful for that second number. That pretty much catches you up to speed on the first 11 days of her life. We are now trying to adjust to living life with a baby. So, as we learn, make mistakes, have funny things happen, etc, I hope you'll tag along and enjoy the ride.
A random blog about a lot of different things. I may seem to have a chip on my shoulder, but really I just like to find confrontational things and, instead of shying away from them, bring them out and talk about them. Read, enjoy, follow and share if you like. If you have a topic you would like me to look at and write about, or any feedback, please feel free to comment and let me know.
